How do you create excitement for something that won’t exist for many years?
That is the challenge we took on as we dove into the creation of a new brand identity for the Common Ground Foundation. This Foundation will oversee the work of Common Ground Ventures as they endeavor to build a new community hub for North Central Calgary which will be known as The Junction on Common Ground. While this physical structure will take some time to develop and then build, the work begins now in introducing this dream to the target area to start building the anticipation.
Beginning with a shared and yet unique brand identity for each of these three entities we then moved into engaging the community through events, web, and social media reach. This is where our work continues today so that in the not-so-distant future the dream of a Community Hub that serves North Calgary will be realized.
On this team I operate as project manager and now oversee the ongoing communications strategy for CGF and its ventures.
We subcontracted our Graphic Designer and engaged the talented Trent Martens for the Website Design and build on Wix as well as the illustrations.
