What does it look like for a 75 year old organization to keep evolving?
The Calgary John Howard Society has been working to reduce crime in Calgary since 1949. I have been involved with them as a volunteer in the past and the opportunity arose to give a significant amount of time to help them develop a communications strategy to inform the public in a greater way about who they are and what they do.
We addressed some of the social media growth goals they had by outlining a themed calendar for the year and creating a plan for content capturing while increasing quality at the same time. We also identified the need for a website redesign which we engaged Mediafy Agency out of Vancouver for.
We’ve renewed this contract for a second year and I’m proud of the work I have been able to help make happen. We continue to see great growth in community awareness and we’re building tracks for telling these important stories of restoring lives, strengthening communities, and preventing crime for the next 75 years.
